# Maren Baxter Christmas Village Shops | Light-Up Paper Houses, Set of 3

**The Maren Baxter Christmas Village Shops are a limited-edition set of three light-up paper storefronts**, a toyshop, a bookstore and a bakery in rich green with cream accents and gold foil, designed by Norwegian artist Maren Baxter for My Mind's Eye.

Maren is known around the world for her poetic paper and gingerbread creations, and this little snowy high street is pure nostalgia. Set the three shops on a mantel, sideboard or tray of greenery, tuck in the fairy lights and they glow together as one small town, in the tradition of the [Christmas village](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_village). A 6-hour timer lights them each evening, and the set packs back into its keepsake box in January to come out again every December.
